Paris Icons

As usual we were bathed in warm sun again today. We got down to business at the crack of 10:00 am...a visit to the Bureau de Poste. Not enough space to take the loot from a week in Paris, but easy to package and ship home.

Then lunch at La Gare, a former train station. Perhaps we have focused too much on food in our recent postings, so no details of our delicious lunch with Sancerre wine.

So let's add a few photos of Paris icons.

We walked around quite a bit today, including a walk across the Bir Hakim bridge which gives you a good view of the Eiffel Tower. We ended the day at the Musée Guimet, the Asian museum of Paris. Apart from the extensive collection of Asian Art, there was a special exhibit of dragons in Vietnamese Art for about the last 1,000 years.
